Black Light Party?

Thinking of having a Black Light party for a 6th grade dance.Was looking for easy and cheap ways to decorate the gym. I was thinking of balloons but what colors works best with a black light. Please any ideas will be helpful but keep in mind this is for 6th grade kids. And also can you rent Black Light or where to buy them

Anything Day-Glo works. Some stores have glow in the dark balloons and decorations which will glow brightly in a black light. Strangely enough Tide also glows in a black light you can use it like paint on banners or decorations. Many Hardware stores sell black lights so do party stores, or hit up any college kids you know they might have some.

Back to the 60's --- good choice.

There were day-glow paints with green and orange, but the lighter colors had more pop to them.

You should be able to either purchase the black lights or rent them from a theater lighting supply company.

One other suggestion is to add, a strobe light. Then you can add lights that were called a color organ. Those were the lights that danced to the beat of the music and they had red, yellow, and blue lights inside it.

white ballons..and white decoratiosn so they will really pop out..

but this should be a 2 part question cause u can rent and buy black lights..but i dont know what country ur in...maybe u cant.
