hello,
iv stopped straightening my hair and i was thinking of scrunching it with mouse, but a friend told me that mouse was just as bad as straightening because the chemicals eat away at your hair, but i wasnt to sure if i belived it, i just want some more opions, any one no?

I use neutrogena foundation, maybelline loose powder, Jane blush, avon eyeliner, jane eyeshadow, avon lipliner, and any lipstick that has a good color and doesn't feel slimy or dry on my lips. I don't have anything clogging my pores and it looks good and stays on for the most part of the day, which for me is 10 hours at work. But my sister says that it doesn't matter how good the cheap stuff is, the expensive stuff is always better. And I do have sensitive skin but it really seems like just the bristles from by brushes, which ARE high end, is what's doing most of the irritation. So, does it really matter?

For months now I have been excited for the upcoming military ball. I had been told that even though my date was not military, I would still be allowed to wear a dress and get all pretty, but just today I was told that not only do all military members have to wear their uniform, reguardless of who their date is, but that I have to go to the ball to work. To write a news story about it for the monthly newsletter at state headquarters. All I was looking forward to was the chance to have a fun evening out and, its cheesey, but kind of get the prom experience I didn't have in high school. Now that they've ruined that, I'm just going to go, get my story and leave. I wont bring a date and stay and socialize or anything. I'll just do my job.
But I still would like a chance to get that experience of dressing up for a ball like event. What other opportunities are there like that out there?

So, when people have asked questions on tattoos many times I come across someone simply putting "Leviticus 19:28" and telling them to read into it. I myself am not highly religious, but I do have some faith in me. So I looked into it. Then I came upon a site of highly devoted christians that are tattooed. They explain the conviction well and on the same not put that to rest.

So I'm kind of wondering, where do people still come off in believing God hates tattooed people?
I've also heard of some kind of mythology or religion where some sort of god or saint judges you by the tattoos covering your body. It's supposed to show an adverturous life and will grant you to move on past him...something along those lines.
Anyone know what that is?
I'm just interested in the whole idea of religion and tattoo. I'm sure its been discussed through and through but I'm too lazy to go back and look.

I have psoriasis that will not go away. I've been told that any trauma to the skin could cause my psoriasis to flair up in that spot. I go tanning every other day to try and keep it under control, it's supposed to help. Has anyone dealt with this before? Will the constant tanning fade my tattoo if I get color?

I am 35 with just a few grey hairs on the top of my head. What is the best brand of hair color to use? I can't arfford to go to the salon so I do it at home.
They are right in the part of my hair so after 1 or 2 weeks of coloring you can see them.

I have afro hair which is thick and coarse. At the moment I get it relaxed at the hairdresser's. Because of the thickness of my hair, they always relax more than my roots and leave it until it irritates my scalp (my scalp is sensitive). I have problems with breakage but my hairdresser tells me this is because I need to be relaxing it more often (I do it every 2.5 months). I'm not sure if this is a good idea, a)because it will work out to be so expensive and b)I am afraid it will ruin my hair even more.

Secondly, I have problems maintaing the straightness of the hair when I dry it after washing it. I usually try to put it in curls or wrap it but I seem to be useless at it because the ends are always frizzy. I'm afraid to blow-dry or flat-iron in case I ruin my hair more.

I was thinking of growing out my natural hair and flat-ironing it straight but I'm not sure how feasible that is on my type of hair. Basically I need advice on the way to have straight hair without ruining it.
