Modesty is for those who actually value themselves.
All women ever want nowadays is to be the Next TOpModel
and
Never Alone.
Except me. Of course, I must be the only one... (sarcasm, much)
bu I'm 29, I'm not that young either.

Modesty is an almost meaningless term; it is entirely relative. I have heard girls wanting a "modest bikini." Most people I know concerned with modesty really just want to be judgemental about other people's appearance. The amount of skin you show is meaningless, and is no absolute reflection on behavior or morals.

I think that there is a time for Modesty. But young women are just getting these sexy bodies and shape. And they just wunna show them off. they dont mean to look like whores or anything. Im 15 and somtimes my mom thinks i need to put a little more cloths on and somtimes i agree...but when i go certain place ya i think it good to be a little modest.

i am a 20 year old woman, and i do thing that modesty matters, or at least it does to me! i don't wear any clothing that shows too much skin. and i can't even walk in the same room as any of my family members with only a towel on. you shouldn't show your body in a way for it to be OK to let it all hang out!

It does not appear to me that many young women these days value modesty.

Not to me really, I'm 15. I don't dress like a slut but I have no problem with showing a tiny bit of cleavage. I never show more than one thing at once... like cleavage or tiny bit of your stomach... And I don't wear short skirts cuz I have ugly legs. Its just, if I wear shirt that cover me up all the way then I look ugly and I look like an old woman who wears sweaters all the tiem or something....

modesty matters to me and i am only 15. i know alot of young girls though who wear skirts that show off their a**es though so i think it depends on the person and how you were raised.

They are worse than the guys these days.

I think they have taken the mid '90s Feminist movement the wrong way...

i'm 14 and it matters to me very much. and it matters to most all my close friends as well -- it seriously depends on the person, some girls dont understand why they shouldnt be immodest, and since they get extra attention for it they do it on purpose. most of my "immodest friends" are encouraged by their parents -- chew on that one.
