I was planning to buy a chi flat iron... but they're expensive... And I was at the store and I saw a 1" flat iron for $15. Would it work? I don't want my hair ending up ruined. I think it was a ceramic iron as well.

i cut my hair last summer and didnt care for the short look, so i have been putting in extensions that have damaged my hair beyond repair. i got my hair done today at a salon and the guy told me he couldnt style it because there was nothing he could do to it. i rip out my tracks, and dont grease my scalp, and i never knew how bad i was damaging my hair. well now i want to repair it and nurse it back to health. any suggestions on what steps i should take? also i have course, extremely thin, weak and slow pace growing hair.

My wife died suddenly June 18th, 2006- and I have all this makeup and stuff, and I'm obviously not going to use any of it. What can I do with this stuff? Lipstick, etc - can you use this stuff like you would paint or something? Or who can I sell or give this stuff too?

I was wearing a brand new wave cap type thing to cover my hair while I was sleeping. I forgot to stretch it out though, and it didnt say to do so on the pack. When I woke up the next morning I have a VERY deep indention on my forehead. I figured it would go away as the day went on. It eventually leveled out, but the next day I woke up and a had a long curved black line across my forehead where the endention had been. It has been about 5 days, and the black line is still there, and its only lightened up a very small amount (due to coco-butter). My dad says it's permanent, what do you think?

Do you realize how ridiculous those stupid snow boots look and also the sunglasses that cover half your face? I am not trying to offend anybody but I don't understand how those came into style with so many girls. I live in the Bay Area, and I would like to know where I can get a really awesome tattoo. I want one of a sunset thing, and the main "element" looks kind of like Japanese-style tattoos I have seen. I don't have any friends with tattoos, and I am underage, so I can't really go into tattoo places to check it out myself, at least not for another few months.
