make-up experts say use browns to bring out the blue and vice versa but i can't seem to find a shadow to make my eyes stand out, does anyone know from experience?

i think it really depends on your skin tone and hair color ALONG with eye color.
Blue eyeshadow tends to dull out your eyes.. But if you do decide to go with a blue use a darker shade around the creases of your eye(you can also mix with a dark gray or black to make a smoky effect)
Violets, Browns, Purples are also great with Blue eyes. With your hazel ring, a nice forest green would look pretty.

i know it sounds weird, but us a pink/light red lip liner or cream blush. just get a little on you index finger and apply it to your lids, blend it well though so you dont look like a raccoon, then just set it with a light dust of powder or shimmer. Looks great.
