I live in the middle of nowhere where I have to wear practical footwear to keep my toes from freezing off. In March I will be spending some time in civilization, and I want to look good. I want to bring one pair of boots. I have three choices, all with a similar one inch cowboy boot type heel. One is a pair of dark brown suede cowboy boots, one is a pair of light brown ankle covering length biker chick boots, and the other is a pair of expensive looking, two tone almost knee length leather boots. If the I wear the high boots with jeans that bag just a teeny bit at the knee is that okay, or do they have to be pencil thin not to look dorkish, even though super skinny jeans would make me look fat... and please don't tell me to get high heels because I never wear them. Thanks.

I read that you should wait 48 hours before putting moisturizing cream on your legs, after getting them waxed... i'm getting my legs waxed for the first time next weekend and then i'm getting a pedicure... where the use moisturizer on your legs... an hour after my legs being done... should i not get the pedicure?? HELP!

She is to embarrassed to tell anyone except for me. I dont know what to tell her. She said she tryed every kind of deodarent but it just doesnt work. Its only underarm sweat and no matter what she does she still gets really large sweat spots. I feel bad for her because she always has to wear sweaters and it makes me feel bad when I dont. Any ideas on how I can help her or what she can do fix this problem?

Now that we got rid of that disgusting tummy-showing short tops, I wonder what else is in store for the summer fashion. I hope it won't be something as stupid as those short tops. I like long tops, No decent person bought those short tops. Shame on pregnant women that wore them. This has got to be the most stupidest fad ever (along with leggings). Leggings should only be worn as pyjamas at home.

They dont require them I guess but they think its better...I mean why cant they shave too? Some do I know but I just dont think its really fair you know? I am really not sure how to take it because part of me is wondering if I am just not worth the bother of them getting fixed up, i.e. clothes, hair, makeup, etc... but then I am happy when people are comfortable around me and "let their hair down". I guess I really don't know the difference here--and it could be that they are depressed and aren't thinking about me at all.

I have read all 7 pages of questions on this topic and I am still at a loss. 11 days ago I had my hair professionally dyed, I waited 4 days before washing it and have only used Redken color extend products. And it is still fading!!! Is there a colour rinse or anything to brighten it up until I can get back to the salon?
