My mom used these on me when I was little. I know that you need to consider if you are going to wear your hair up then roll in an upward direction if you are going to wear down the roll in the down position. The curls will come out in the direction you roll them. I have worn them dry and wet. If your hair is thick I would suggest wet and give enough time to dry. I have used spritz in the past to give it a light hold-spray on after you have finished rolling. GOOD LUCK!

wet hair or damp hair is better than dry hair wen it comes to using foam rollers..also since they are porous ..you can blow dry your hair while your at it for quicker results..the heat will warm your hair and give them the shape of the rollers..after blow drying..leav the rollers in for a while and then take them out for better results.

your hair should be wet and you should put the foam in before you put the rollers in.

use them when your hair is wet, your hair will not do anything if its dry already. use a curt constructor, i prefer the Garner frutis version its super good and cheap
