She is to embarrassed to tell anyone except for me. I dont know what to tell her. She said she tryed every kind of deodarent but it just doesnt work. Its only underarm sweat and no matter what she does she still gets really large sweat spots. I feel bad for her because she always has to wear sweaters and it makes me feel bad when I dont. Any ideas on how I can help her or what she can do fix this problem?

It's called Hyperhidosis. It's actually quite common.

If normal deoderants won't work, tell her to try Certain Dri (you can get it at Walgreens). It contains Aluminum Chloride, the ingredient prescribed by Dermatologists to patients with excessive perspiration. It is applied when you go to bed at night and should last up to 48 hours.

If that doesn't work going to see a doctor would be a good idea.

Actually, that isn't an uncommon problem at all! First, she should try a MEN's deodorant and antiperspirant. Second, she should keep some babywipes with her (trust me, it helps!). She can just go to the bathroom a couple times a day, wipe her old deodorant off (and the sweat as well), and reapply the deodorant. There is another product, but I used to order it through a dermatologist, that is a large crystal that you rub under your arms. I used it because I have allergies to perfumes and almost ALL deodorant is perfumed. I physically could not sweat while using it. She may wish to see a dermatologist and ask about it. I can't remember what it's called, but the dermatologist will know.

its called hyperhidrosis (idk how to spell it). one way to stop the sweating is to go to a local drugstore and by a product called Ceratin Dry. it is applied at night and the sweating stops for about 2 days but the longer its used, the less often it has to be applied. it works great and i dont sweat at all, even when i work out. another way to stop the sweating is to get botox injected into ur armpits. but i would only recommend this if Certain Dry doesnt work. have ur friend google excessive sweating and she can research more.

You should have her see a dermatologist for a prescription of Drysol. You rub it on just like deodorant and you never sweat under your arms, even in 90 degree weather!

No external treatment will help. And be CAREFUL if by any external application your sweat stops you will be more sick. Even today you are sick. The only recourse is to visit a Homoeopath and get yourself totally cured. Your sweat is not a disease but a symptom of the disease you are suffering from. This is the only truth.

Go to Wallgreens and get "Certain Dri" Antipersperant. It literally shirnks the pores underneath your underarms. You might have to go up to the counter and ask for it because it is perscription strength.

i dont know how old she is but if she goes to school and has a locker she could keep a extra top in her locker to change when she gets sweaty or she could carry a large purse and keep a top in there
