ABSOLUTELY RALPH LAUREN!!!!!! his pieces are timeless and classic. think about it, how many teens do you doing wearing ralph lauren daily? marc ecko? ... that one is about the same, but how many mothers do you see wearing ralph lauren? marc ecko? there is no question there! ralph of course! ralph has established himself as not only a designer, yet as a man who knows what people like and can appeal to all ages.

it really depends on the style your attempting to achieve ralph lauren gives off a classy, yet casual sophisticated look. It looks sharp no matter what.
I find ecko is more street acredited yet classy and sharp but not casual. I find it overated. It doesnt give off the same cleanness that Ralph lauren does.

Ralph lauren is ten times better...he has been around forever. he is the epitome of american style....ok maybe Calvin Klein is good too. But Ralph Lauren has still got it, If you saw his f/w 2007 collection you would not be asking that question it was GENIUS!...it set the trend for fall/winter 2007/.

i personally think it depends on your race, because i live in Atlanta, and both mark ecko and Ralph are popular. but i think Ralph Lauren has established a better line/lines.

properly what are you determining to purchase? outfits or colognes? If its colognes, i choose Ralph Lauren, and if its outfits Ralph Lauren is somewhat preppy, so i am going to bypass with Marc Ecko. wish i coud help :)

if you like street style -baggy pants etc. marc ecko.
if you like fashion and preppy ralph lauren
i like marc ecko
