Beauty & Style - 24 January 2007

I have very dark hair and very light skin. When I shave you can see the hair under my skin...I wear jeans a lot so it's not that big of a deal on my legs, but I've been confined to swim-skirts since puberty and I would love to wear a bikini this summer. I don't have the money for laser hair removal. Does anyone know what I should do to fix this? Would tanning help at all?

A little over a week ago I dyed my hair with loreal color pulse. It is a temporary hair coloring that is supposed to wash out in 8 to 10 washes. It is fading but not as fast as I would like since I would like to highlight my hair. My question is this... can you highlight over hair that has been dyed with a temp dye???

See, my mother (age 42) is really pretty and has the nicest skin ever, until you get to her feet. They're huge, wrinkly, ugly, cracked, and just plain old disgusting. No matter how much lotion she uses, they don't heal. If you touch her feet, it's like touching hard sand paper or something. I'm really not trying to diss out her feet and I want to help her get really nice feet, or at least better than what they are now. But I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THOSE NICE, SMOOTH feet? Can anyone suggest a GOOD LOTION OR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND WHERE CAN I GET IT?? I need to know that please. Thanks.

im in MS(middle school) and i have P.E.on monday, tuesday,and thursday(tommorow).when it was summer the sun shone down on my leggs ALOT!apperently the sun only liked my knees and every day my knees(and my knees only,not the rest of my leg got tan.my legs are really pale and my knees are really brownish.it lookss horrible!how can i fix it!i dont want to go to a tanning salon.i just dont.i just hate ppl looking at my knees and they are different skin tone colors than the rest of my leg.i dont want my knees to get tanner just the rest of my leg but not that much.is there a way of hiding it!help.pleaaassse!

I use proactiv on and off for the past year. Id use it for about 2ish months and nothing would happen.

Question 1. Could I put too much of the cleanser on so that it doesnt work as well?

Question 2. How long do I keep the cleanser on? Ive tried all sorts of minutes here.

im soo interested in the 60s. i loed the outsiders and since reading that i wonder about the greaser girls. they didnt say much about them.

The spiral rods I'm talking about resemble a candle. They do not bend because they are hard plastic. They are medium sized. A brand called Soft 'N Style makes them.

i was wondering..whats so wrong with limited 2? i dont think its a big deal for teens to wear it. Yes, i do wear abercrombie, a eagle, aeropostale, and all those stores. And i do like limited 2. Whats so wrong with it? Why are some ppl like "ewwww limited 2..its for little girls" i dont think it is. i think its perfectly fine. what do you guys think?
