I use proactiv on and off for the past year. Id use it for about 2ish months and nothing would happen.

Question 1. Could I put too much of the cleanser on so that it doesnt work as well?

Question 2. How long do I keep the cleanser on? Ive tried all sorts of minutes here.

Thank you guys and girls.

Too much of anything is a bad thing, follow the directions based on your skin type, I dont believe proactiv works, but I havent tried it.

Sometimes Proactive doesn't work for everyone. If you keep on using it and don't see any improvement then I think you have your answer. I would recommend you visit a dermatologist. You can also visit this website:

Im not sure about how long to put it on, it works great just by washing with it for me.Maybe its not working for you. My sister had very bad acne it didnt help her either, so her doctor prescribed these facial pads for her and it worked miracles. I dont remember the name but it a prescription so talk to your doctor.

Actually it didn't work for me, either. There is also chemicals in proactiv that if you use it for a year or more in can sort of bleach your face and make it more splotchy and discolored.
