I have very dark hair and very light skin. When I shave you can see the hair under my skin...I wear jeans a lot so it's not that big of a deal on my legs, but I've been confined to swim-skirts since puberty and I would love to wear a bikini this summer. I don't have the money for laser hair removal. Does anyone know what I should do to fix this? Would tanning help at all?

wax. it's quicker than Nair. It hurts more when you are doing it but you dont run the risk of chemical burn like with Nair or other creams. Waxing takes the whole hair out, down to the root, instead of just cutting the top part off. Take 2 tylenol an hour before.

I'm the same way. Luckily, my husband is now paying for my laser hair removal. But before, I would use one of those small hair trimmers you can get at the drug store and would self tan.

You can also wear cute boy shorts for your swimsuits. Good luck!

Maybe you should buy a bikini trimmer. That would help to reduce the hair around your bikini area and you could wear the swimsuit.

i would say try waxing or some type of nair product, helps take the hair from the root, and with shaving it still leaves the root and tahts what you seeing through your skin., love yourself anyways, you only have one body and one self, so learn to just love and accept it ♥

Where do you live....I am aware of some laser providers that have substantially discounted their prices and they also finance the procedure. Or you can go to HairRemovalForum.com and ask them there.

Don't tan; your skin will regret it when you're older. Try waxing at home, my wife does it. It's painful being beautiful.

wax if you can handle a bunch of hairs being ripped out at one time, otherwise be confident and wear what you want - I do.
