See, my mother (age 42) is really pretty and has the nicest skin ever, until you get to her feet. They're huge, wrinkly, ugly, cracked, and just plain old disgusting. No matter how much lotion she uses, they don't heal. If you touch her feet, it's like touching hard sand paper or something. I'm really not trying to diss out her feet and I want to help her get really nice feet, or at least better than what they are now. But I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THOSE NICE, SMOOTH feet? Can anyone suggest a GOOD LOTION OR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND WHERE CAN I GET IT?? I need to know that please. Thanks.

I know this might sound weird, but go to the market and get some cooking lard (Crisco) and after you get out of the shower/bath while the skin is still soft, or wash your feet before going to bed. Put this on generously and sleep in socks. This should help with the dry cracking parts. Avoid going to salons and getting pedicures do them yourself to avoid fungus or infection from semi clean tools. Also there is an item at Wal-Mart called Emu Oil, it's very inexpensive around $2 works well and smells okay.

I think it partly depends on what kind of shoes you wear. If they are soft and cushion-like it helps a lot. Walking barefoot gets feet very hard and it can possibly get permanent. I believe heels can damage feet a lot if you wear them often but I'm not sure if they get them hard, dry and wrinkly. : ) Prescription lotions might help, when I was younger I had dry dry dry skin and the lotion helped a lot! But you can just try different lotions that don't have a nice scent usually they just make your skin feel oily which tricks most people. They don't really soak into the skin.

A really good pedicure helps yucky feet. There is also a DR. Schols lotion for feet she could use afterwars to keep her feet pretty. You can get that lotion just about anywere. Or you could try asking someone at a beauty supply place. They could help choose something that couls really help her out.

I think she needs a pedicure. My feet are fine but to relax
and get some time away from my three son's I treat myself
to a pedicure once a month. Maybe if she gets a pedicure once a month over time her feet will be something good to look at.
