I fixed a straightening iron because I had to sodder the wires to make it work and now I can't get it back together. I can't seem to find where the spring inside goes. It doesn't line up. Please someone help me out.

My boyfriend told me that straightening my hair everyday would make it grow slower, and I love my hair to be straight. If I don't do anything to it after it's wet, it always frizzes up and curls, looking really icky. Now he's got me all paranoid that my hair might grow slower if I keep on straightening my hair. I don't think my hair could ever be too long, so now I'm curious if your hair really does slow down in growing when you iron straighten it. HELP!

I am writing out this story I have, and I have all the details and I even know the ending even though I haven't wrote it out.ok my question is what should she wear, her and her boyfriend are going on this date to this fancy resturant.It is really fancy so she will need to wear a dress.She has Medium brown hair with natural copper highlights (like you can get a hint of copper when the sun strikes her hair) and her hair is a little further down then her shoulders, and it is curly/wavy and she has popping ocean blue eyes, and her skin tone is lightly tanned.Her body type is small shoulders, Medium sized breasts, narrow waste, and small hips, with a very cute butt.OK my question is, what style of dress should she wear (halter, strapless..ect) and what color would go best with her features? i really hate myself and have tried to kill myself twice. im 17.i am 5 foot 3 and weigh 53 kilos and i know technically im not overweight but i suck. i have huge shoulders from swimming and it looks weird cause i have no boobs. i have a pot belly and a huge butt and strechmarks,specs,braces n loads of hair on my face,legs,arms and belly.worse of all i have this layer of fat and thick lines around my neck that i had since i was born n its really obvious. i havent worn sleeveless clothes for years .i am losing hair and what i have left is crap.i have PCOS.the guys at my school find me ugly n disgusting and the girls feels sorry for me.it doesn't help that my brother whos a year older is the hottest guy in school and was prom king.parents dont allow me to wear makeup,straighten dye my hair,use hair styling products.in my whole life a guy hasn't even looked at me.i try hard 2 look my best but its hard 2 hold my head high.im starting college this year n thinkin of it makes me wanna die.hel

I have a bit of a long story...

Back in May 2005 I got my hair permed. It didn't look good and it was bad for my hair so I've been letting it grow out. I recently got tired of having to straighten it or go out with ugly looking curls so I cut about 6 or 7 inches off and my hair is now around my shoulders. I just got an extra inch cut off a couple of weeks ago and I've noticed that I have some split ends. I only straighten my hair once a week and usually I let it air dry. But I've also heard that you shouldn't wash it everyday. My problem is that my hair is very fine and can be oily and if I don't wash my hair everyday it looks very greasy. Does anyone have advice on how to stop my hair from looking greasy the second day, or products I could use? Thanks.
