I wish I could give you a hug right now. Honey listen, at 5.3', weighing 53 kilos, or approximately 117 pounds, you are NOT fat in any way shape or form.
I would suggest a few things for you. Can you see a therapist because it sounds as if you sounds from body dysmorphic disorder. If not, listen, you said you are starting college this year. Honey, you are old enough to do what you want as far as your hair and wearing makeup.
Do you still swim? If not, try a different form of aerobic excercise that such as step class or spinning. There are plenty of ways to sculpt your body.
I honestly can't belive there are that many things "wrong" with you. I am certain you are feeling horrible and just magnifying what you think are your faults.
Love yourself and others will love you too.

Once you are out of your parents home you are free to wear make up try new hairstyles and experiment with fashions that will be more flattering - think Greek goddess. You are tall but because of your parents you are being kept too childlike. Parents mistakenly prevent their girls from looking like ladies and developing a sexy persona because they fear their girls will have it. Boys are a different story because they can't get pregnant. Double standard I know but I have been there only I am petite and busty and always wore clothes as a youth that made me look like a butterball. When I finally learned how to dress everyone thought I was anorexic because I went from a size 10 belted to a size 5. Your parents are trying to protect you and in doing so have made you feel ugly and uncertain of yourself. Be strong and look at sports magazines for fashion ideas - many new sports divas have great style that complements their strong physic. When you shop for clothes look for Low waisted slacks and high waisted shirts you will be pleased with the fit -get some pretty underthings too just wearing lace that close always makes a woman feel more confident. There are a myriad of hair product and Veet to remove it anyplace you don’t want it. If your budget is tight go to a beauty college for the makeover it will be cheap and current and hit charity shops in nice neighborhoods for clothes (some are donated from stores and still have tags). Good Luck!

When I read this, it seemed to me that you were trying to get other's approval to build your own self confidence. I know how hard being your age can be, because I had serious thoughts about suicide as well. When I think back on high school, and how I felt so depressed constantly, I realize that it was such a small part of my life. Stop trying to kill yourself. You only get one life and you should use it not thinking of what anyone else thinks of you. If you don't like your body, you can change that, but only if YOU don't like it. You don't like your body hair? That's fixable too. I thought College was going to be hell because I was very self concious. What I realized when I got there was that it was completely different. People didn't care how I looked at all! They were nice and friendly, and I was really surprised because I didn't even look like a person to smile at...PLEASE keep your head up. 17 years is SUCH a short life to have. Don't get down, because you have so much life ahead of you. I have almost completely forgotten about high school after only 3 years of college. Don't lose hope, and remember that you are loved!!

GIRL! You are fabulous no matter how you look. You just gotta work with what you got! Your body is fine, your face is fine, it's your image you need help with. You gotta understand that you are beautiful no matter what. Stop with the suicide thing! You got too much going for you! Just wait til you are 18 and can do things on your own, then you can buy hair stuff and make-up. High School sucks no matter where you go or how you look. College will be your time to shine!!
feel free to shoot me an email and we can talk about any of this stuff if you want to!

Hey, don't get to down on yourself up until I hit high school the kids made fun of me too. I also tried to take my own life several times, but guess what? I ended up growing out of it and scored an attractive husband and a beautiful baby boy. My advice to you is this...GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!!! who cares what your parent will or will not let you do. Your health takes presidency. Dint get me wrong you should respect your parents, but if you are about to start college I suggest you go to wall mart and buy the following : razors (for saving legs only) tweezers (for plucking eye brows), make up and Cosmo magazine (have articles on how to apply your make up) hair dye (optional) and a new out fit and shoes that make you feel good about yourself...you know little pick me up things...here is a site that might help you. Don't forget to visit the hair salon for a fashionable style and cut! Hope you feel better!

If you're actually feeling suicidal, you need to do something to make yourself feel better whether your parents like it or not. You're in college and they don't "allow" you to wear makeup? Forget about them. Wear makeup behind their backs. Seriously. You wouldn't believe what makeup can do. I would just die if I couldn't wear makeup. No one would ever look at me. But when I do wear makeup, I get lots of looks. Also, do something with your hair. Your parents do not have the right to keep you down like this. You need to protect yourself from the way they are. Go try some wigs on at the mall or something and see what looks good on you. Also, and this is VITAL, you need to shave your face. Lots of girls do this. Shave or wax the hair on your face and do it NOW. It is such an easy problem to take care of, that it is unacceptable to have hair on your face. You must get rid of it immediately. My suggestion would be to (AFTER you get all the hair off your face) offer yourself up to some girls for them to perform a makeover on you. Or get one at the mall. You will not feel this way any more, I promise. Good luck, sweetie. Allow yourself to blossom.

i'm sorry that you feel this way about yourself and that others aren't giving you any support. Your about to go off to college you said. If you were to do all the things your parents won't allow you to how much trouble could you get in. do you think that it would be worth it. If your swimming and that form of workout isn't working for you try running. Killing your self is not the answer and i think that you know this. If this is how you think then you should tell your parents and maybe they would lighten up and get you some assistance in both areas
good luck

Please don't try to kill yourself. Have you had your thyroid checked? What is the reason for your hair loss? You need to talk to your parents about how your feeling? Why won't they allow you to use anything? If they are not helping then seek some counseling, maybe through school would be a good start. I'm sorry I don't know what pcos is. If you need to talk to someone you can e-mail me I would be glad to be there for you.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry that you feel this way. I'm sure that you are a beautiful person inside. Do you have hobbies you like? You mentioned swimming, try immersing yourself in a hobby that you enjoy, it will make you happy, and you will start to feel better about yourself. College is a new beginning for you, please put thoughts of destroying yourself out of your mind.
Hugs and Love
