Buy non-abrasive silver polish and wash it with that and a jewelry-cleaning cloth for about as long as the silver polish says to on the bottle. Or, you could buy silver polish dip which is more expensive, but much easier. Since silver gets marks on it very easily, here are some more tips: don't wear your pool or hottub because chlorine and other chemicals damage the sterling silver. Also, do not wear it while bathing, going swimming, or showering because soaps and the accumulated salts in large amounts of water can damage the silver. Sorry, I don't know the price of getting it polished at the Tiffany store, but I am sure it is more expensive than you would think! I hope this helps! Good luck!

Go to your jewelers and have it cleaned (in front of you!). Many of the stuff sold for consumers to use is corrosive or abrasive and may damage you necklace. A reputable jeweler will clean it as well as give you advice on how to maintain and perhaps clean it yourself and they probably won't charge that much! (Ten bucks, maybe?)
