Emeralds are generally more precious, however they almost always have a lot of inclusions in them causing them to look cloudy. A clear Emerald with a rich green color to it would be considered to be quite rare and precious.

They are both considered precious gemstones, but emeralds are more rare so they will usually be more expensive. Emeralds are also softer than sapphires, so they are harder to cut and work with, which also causes them to be more expensive.

Emerald is more expensive and more beautiful. After diamont emerald is next.

I think the two gems are both very precious. As far as how expensive they are it depends on their clarity, cut, and size.
