I'm looking for a good heat protectant to use while straightening my hair. I don't want to spend too much on it, but I want it to work good.

well, my hair is naturally curly but only in the front (weird, yes i know). in the back it looks like i had it in a braid and took it out.
i usually straighhten it. probably every other day, i straighten it.
well i was wondering if there was any way i could use a a curling iron to make my hair like kate hudson's. please tell me how to use the curling iron too.

My foundation usually comes off within
10 minutes of being out, which leaves
my skin on show most of my nights out.
Is there anything I can apply underneath
or on top of it so it'll stay on?

Ok I will be transferring to Texas next year, my sophmore year, and the school district (mesquite) has uniforms. And I talked about it to my friends, and they flipped out at the thought of uniforms, saying they would "just die" Which comes to the question, what is actually WRONG with uniforms anyway? some pros and cons maybe? And in your opinion does it keep students focused more on school work than cleavage and clothes?

so oils that I tryed gets my skin hydrated but then causes acne. caz I also have acne prone skin

What is considered Lebanese make up style? Please give me a detailed description, I heard this from another topic but really wanted to know and didn't get an answer. Also, please share if you know any other arab make up style.

I have never had my hair colored, and I am thinking about trying it. I am not sure whether I should drop a wad of cash at the salon or try a relatively inexpensive do-it-yourself product since I'm not even sure I'd like coloring it to begin with. My natural color is a fairly dark brown and I would like to go to black. It seems like that should be a pretty fool-proof change, but since I have never even had it done before, I am not sure I want to go it alone.

So, my questions are these:

1) How hard are the home coloring products to use? (They look kind of confusing.)

2) Am I right in thinking that a brown to black dye should be pretty forgiving, even for a newbie?

3) Would you recommend trying it at home for the first time, only after I've had it done at least once professionally, or never?

I have no idea...I really like the first one, but usually don't wear things that are too flashly. I like it because it makes it more obvious that I'm a Ravens fan, plus it's got a pretty color...I like the other one because it also loks good...I can't decide. The first one costs $25 and the second is $60. Tell me which is better looks wise.
