With a 3/4 in curling iron take small sections of hair ( about 1/2 in)and curl each by putting the end of the strand at the bottom of the clamp, closing and wrapping toward the tip of the iron. (it should look like a spiral around the iron.) Hold for about 5-7 secs and release. Repeat with each section of hair.

Another option is pin-curls. To do this, take a small section of damp hair and twist all the way down to the end. Wrap the twisted section around your finger and pin up close to your head. Repeat with each section of hair until all is pinned. Blow dry or allow to air dry and then take all the sections down. Should result in pretty curls

A curling iron or a diffuser. A diffuser may work best in your case since it's already wavy. Try it and use some mousse.

ok i know you pronounced do no longer assist you to recognize to braid it, yet i used to do my hair like that each and every of the time. i might get it moist, then placed gel all in it. after that i might braid 3 or 4 unfastened braids (one on the two area and one or 2 interior the back) and enable them to air dry or use the dryer on low. as quickly as they have been especially much dry, i might take them out and use mousse to grant them one extra scrunch. yet in any different case to do this's instead of braiding them, twist them up into little spirals. that takes longer to dry however. you like them to be like ninety 5% dry once you're taking them down. perhaps the spiral thought will artwork extra beneficial for you! good success! that sytle is often beautiful!
