I'm 14 about to turn 15 next month, and my parents won't let me go to a tanning bed. They keep on telling me it could cause skin cancer. I realize this but honestly I don't care because I've researched statistics that say it's a very rare incident. Spare me the lecture on how bad it is for your skin and please tell me how I can show them that although I'm at a young age, I'm mature enough to make some of my own decisions. I've already tried the fake-a-tan option, and well it always comes out orange or just plain unnatural looking....

I have a 17 year old sister who is spotting gray strands in her hair here and there. The roots are still black, but the tips are gray.

Is this normal? If not, what can be done about it?
My sister is worrying, so any serious help will be appreciated.

I do admit its not my real hair. I tried that thing on clairol. so bare with me here, the blonde hair represents me now the other color is the colors i have in my mind of dyeing.





Please let me know which looks the best on me. Dont sit there and say how fake it looks, or how its a bad picture of me either, thats not what i am asking.

i am wearing a light yellow long tank that kind of hugs the waist, a baggy tshirt with the top (neck) part cut off and tied at the side, leggings (turquoise) and ankle boots. turquoise eyeshadow, bright lipstick, big hair and bangs in a high side ponytail.

i am probably gonna borrow my friend's clip on hoop earrings. and big bracelets. or homemade beaded bracelets. please no fude remarks on this part since i;m not allowed to have pierced ears and also not allowed to spend any money on clip ons.

if the costume is cheap or anything nicely suggest something else. i just need the rough 80s look, bc i cant find leg warmers.

I'm always reluctant to smile because I have braces, and I'm 15.
I've never really liked smiling, but recently I've gotten a higher self esteem and want to smile more. however, the braces keep me from being happy about my smile.

I know that smiling is one of the most attractive things you can do, but I'd like to know if it also works for people who have braces!!

Hey everyone. Well, I recently started wearing make-up (I'm 13) and my mascara doesn't really curl my eyelashes well. I want to use an eyelash curler, but my mom doesn't really want me to because she keeps telling me that she once ripped out half of her eyelashes out with an eyelash curler. I really want to use one though, because my mascara always looks kind of clumpy and weird without it. So does anyone know a good eyelash curler for a 13 year old first-timer? Thanks so much.
