No his hair isn't purely blonde. It's a mixture of colors. It's like a dark, sandy, dirty blonde. Very handsome man!

Yes he is blond. What's confusing you is that it is a natural blond and doesn't come out of a bottle. Mousey is a drab colour that has no definition. Natural blond can be a dark blond but it also has it's own natural highlights.

I thought the hair-color companies had a revolutionary
type of hair-coloring product.
So they lobbyed and payed the makers of the new bond to put up
a mouse-blond colored actor to start a new revolution :P
And it's blond all over again :)
