The way to bring out your eyes is to wear a shirt or dress that is the same color as your eyes. Blue eyes, wear blue, etc. Makeup should be used in moderation. Less is more. If you want people to notice your eyes, not your makeup go for a more natural look. Browns and tans with lighter colors under your brow. Just use a light brown color under your eyes to line them without doing any lining over your eyes.

If you look like your little avatar fellow, then here's what I'd do. Put on eyeliner, rather strong. Do it on the outside of your lashes--not on the inside rim of your eyelid--you know what I mean? Then, use cold cream to remove everything you can without scrubbing. You'll be left with a thin nice line. Or you can sharpen your eyeliner pencil very well, and dot it in between your eyelashes for natural looking eyeliner. Apply mascara. Then, either put on white eyeshadow (it shouldn't make your lids white, just lighter), light blue eyeshadow, or no eyeshadow on at all. Then wear a shirt that is the same color as your eyes.

If you have green eyes golden color and browns look really nice on the eyes and they stand out
You do not have to wear lots of eye makeup to make your eyes stand out. Since you like the smoky eye look remember to blend blend blend smoky eye is all about the blending and smudging to get the look you want
sometime I will put a natural looking eyeshawdow then I line my eyes up and smudge the eyeliner with a q-tip and this is the simplist way to get smokey eye look if you dont know how to do that well and put a nice pink gloss and mascara

Try liner with a light touch, dark green, medium brown, and violet are all good colours, as well as deep blue. Don't overdo the liner. On top, get it as close to your lashline as possible, on your lower lids, try using a very light, contrasting frost colour, at the outer corner of your eyes, for a fresh look. For evenings, line your lower lid -- OUTSIDE your eyes, not inside, unless you have proper kajul! You can get very bad eye infections, putting make-up IN your eyes! -- halfway. Smudge in an upward sweep that makes the eyeliner not look like a line.
Understated, but skilful, is the key to taseful makeup. To call attention to your eyes, choose three complimentary shades of eyeshadow in a hue lighter than your liner, (bold colours are fine for nights out, but try more neutral shades during the day). Apply the darkest in the outer half of crease of your eyelid; and on the inner third of your eyelid, below the crease. Apply the middle hue on the outer lid; match the outward sweep of the shadow in the crease, above, to widen your eyes. Use the lightest colour very subtly, along the browbone. Close your eyes, and dab a touch of frost directly above your eyeball. (DON'T smudge that bit!)
Use a touch of the lightest colour under the corner of your lower lid.
Leave the dramatic, black mascara for dark nights and bright lights. Use a brown-black mascara, or even a colour, dark green, blue and violet are all good. Match it to what you're wearing.
Beware pinks and reds around the eyes. They can make you look as if you've been crying, while standing on your head. Only really dramatic people can carry off red mascara.
REMEMBER: If you're drawing attention to your eyes, use a neutral to light shade of lipstick. If you wear bright lipstick, don't make your eye-makeup too complicated. Call attention to your facial bone structure with two shades of blush. When in doubt, use LESS, of any makeup.
If you wear a makeup foundation, be sure to apply it to your eyelids and let it dry completely, before you do your eye make-up. It helps it stay on, and look smooth.
Call attention to your best features, not by hiding them under a gob of makeup, but by highlighting them with makeup, as a tool.
NEVER share mascara, or eyeliner. If someone else uses your eyeshadow, make her or him use a cotton-bud. Throw eye makeup away after a year, whether you want to or not. (Or keep it in the 'fridge).

Matching your eyes with the same color or complementing color eyeshadow works well, and i would recommend trying a medium to dark Grey, not black eyeliner and a good volumizing mascara.

If I were you then I would try more natural colors. Guys like it, its sexy and its the real you. I wake up and use brown eyeliner and cover-up. Thats it, and I go to school and my friends say I look good.

Hi Babe,
use a colour similar to your own eye colour eg. brown or blue. Darken it around the tips of your eyelids and fade it in from the far end of the eyebrow towards your nose.
Hope this helps x x
