I've started going to the salon every 2 weeks to get my hair done and take vitamins from vitamin world for hair, skin, and nails. Am i missing something or am i doing the right thing to grow my short hair really healthy and long?

My hairdresser advised me to go back on Saturday since I work and can't make it to her salon during the week. Is there anything I can do at home (without using chemicals) to reverse some of the damage or at least tone down the blue. I've been with my hairdresser for almost 6 years. This is the first time that this has happened to my hair.

I want to permanently loosen my tight curls, will perming it with large rods work? If so, what size? I see that 9/16 (aka 3/4) inch seems to be the right size.

Is that right?

My hair is long (a few inches past my shoulders) -- middle of back when straightened.

See umumms.....nvm....ok : see im doing a project that you use socks to create little doggys (great for holiday presents) anyways . ! its says to : "turn one sock inside out" see that part was easy , then says"cut off the cuff" my Q is ums what is the cuff which part is that...its above the heel i do know!
