See umumms.....nvm....ok : see im doing a project that you use socks to create little doggys (great for holiday presents) anyways . ! its says to : "turn one sock inside out" see that part was easy , then says"cut off the cuff" my Q is ums what is the cuff which part is that...its above the heel i do know!

The cuff is where the lines of the sock get different. The bottom part is soft and then it gets those lines up over the ankle, that is the cuff or top-portion of the sock.

Usually, its the Hem line at the Top Opening of the sock, where your hand goes in first.
