I saw a lot of Proactive answers. While it is cheaper than prescriptions it's still not cheap. Try any face wash that has the active ingredient of benzyl peroxide (that's whats in prescriptions and proactive). Benzyl peroxide is much better than salicylic acid at killing the specific bacteria that cause acne. I think neutragena has one thats about $6. Use it once a day anywhere you have acne.
FYI - this is good for pimples not white heads or black heads. Also, give it about 2 weeks. Nothing will give you results asap.

I have dealt with the same problem. I have found that the Proactive body scrub and body lotion are very good for that. It heals existing pimples, and helps prevent breakouts. However, if you can't get ahold of that, Neutrogena makes a Body Clear scrub that is also very effective. The trick is, exfoliate with a scrub that has salicylic acid in it and moisturize with a lotion that contains it as well. As for the scars, cocoa butter lotion works well, or there is a topical ointment called Mederma that is great for scars. I hope this helps! :)

well proactiv is super good for me.
not sure about you.
first of all, diet doesnt affect acne.
sure, its important to eat right but it doesnt affect acne.
second, are you sure that thoe bumps are actually pimples.
They can be just dry skin.
I have bumps on my back but their just dry skin.
you can tell by looking in the mirror.
are they just bumps that maybe look like whiteheads?
That would be dry skin,
If their actual blackheads,its acne.:]
either way you should use Clean and Clear Body scrub and gel.
Use both with a loafa.(It would be helpful if it was he kind you can reach your back with)
Use the gel every day.
Use the scrub twice a week.
Try not to take showers for more than 10 minutes.
They will dry out your skin so it will produce more oil and that leads to breakouts!!
Also, try not to sweat when you have your hair down.
If your working out or have gym make sure to to tie it up!
The oils from your hair may be causing this.

Whether it will leave scars or not, it depends on your skin. Mine often do. Use antibacterial body wash twice a day, and apply face toner on your back to deep cleanse it. You can scrub your back regularly to smooth it out.

change your diet (no fried foods, carbonated drinks, caffeine,), stop stressing, use nutrogena acne body wash. and start taking centrum mult-vitamin in liquid form (found at target, walmart or drugstore.com). and increase your water intake. Take how much you weigh divide by 2 and that's how many oz.'s of water your should be drinking a day.

get a back loufa, it looks like a big belt made out of loufa material and has strings on either side, when showering, scrub your back with it. You can buy them at wal-mart
