My hairdresser advised me to go back on Saturday since I work and can't make it to her salon during the week. Is there anything I can do at home (without using chemicals) to reverse some of the damage or at least tone down the blue. I've been with my hairdresser for almost 6 years. This is the first time that this has happened to my hair.

I would suggest you let her fix it if you trust her. If you do anything to fix it yourself it may be they do not feel they have to repair the mistake they made. I would try to get her to do it sooner though. Let her know it is not a good thing and you have to go to work with it. See if you can set up an appointment in the evening if you are off then. Good luck!
