Beauty & Style - 11 October 2006

I have a party on Friday and I want to scrunch my hair for it. Usually, after I get out of the shower and my hair is still wet, I use lots of mousse, hair spray, gel, etc. then take sections and scrunch them up in little buns, then blow dry them while they're still on the top of my head. It gives me the wet, curly hair look and usually looks really good but falls out after about an hour. I need it to last me at least 6 hours for the party. What is the best way to keep it from falling flat and keep it curly? Any good products or other techniques for doing this style will be helpful! Please help! Thanks!

weeks after I take them out. So in the interim, my hair will be rough, real rough. My natural texture is spongy and SUPER thick. How should I do my hair for the two weeks in between? Please keep in mind I exercise and sweat 2-4 times per week, and I work in a professional office. What nice, professional styles are there that are easy to maintain and easy to take out after a couple weeks?

I am going for my first tattoo tomorrow. Please don't respond if you're going to say "just don't get one, you're going to regret it"- I am well aware that many people regret their tattoos. I am 19 and have wanted a tattoo since I was 9 or 10, I always loved the temporary ones and in the past couple of years I have flirted with the idea. I know exactly what I want and am very excited about this!

Now my question is, does it hurt a LOT? Doesn't matter either way, but I do want to be prepared. Should I take tylenol before or something? I went with my friend to get her tattoo and she didn't take any medicine. They just gave her a bandage and told her to keep it on for 2 hours and put vaseline on after so it could heal. If any of you have tips or personal tattoo stories I would like to hear them. Thanks.

What would you do if the meanest girl in your school is wearing the same outfit as you to a huge party? I saved up like 300$ to buy it(my dad took my credit card), and when she heard about my outfit, she went out and bought the same one!

i have been lookingn for a good, inexpensive place where i can get microdermabrasion done at. but i guess i have 2 questions: is there an alternative to microdermabrasion thats adolescent-friendly? i have scarring from acne on my face. i'm only 18 so i still get it now and then.
