As a rule of my job i am not allowed to wear ANY jewelry and this includes my wedding ring. When i take this off i have noticed that the inside of the ring is changing colour to a dark brown, does Gold tarnish? I also seem to be getting a dermatites type rash on my finger under the ring.

I am 22 and healthy, as far as I am concerned. But, the craziest thing happened to me. I did some heavy work without wearing a bra (please, it was not sex!), and I noticed a little pain on one of my nipples. When I looked, I saw that it looked kinda cut and there was blood. The first time it happened, I just ignored it. But, it happened again on another day. It was on the same breast.
Is there any cause for alarm?

It's kinda embarrassing to talk about this with anybody

I tried lightening my hair a shade or too and the box said to keep the dye on for 30 minutes, i left it on for 10 minutes and my hair has turned white with a coppery tinge (im a natural ash blonde)

Is there any way of darkening it down at home?

I'm 16 & really don't use anything but cover girl translucent powder but i'm thinkin' about using foundation. I also have oily skin. The only thing with this is that I only want to use it on my cheeks only to reduce the look of my redness. It's not that serious but i hate havin' "rosy" cheeks & at that i'm black & puerto rican. Those races aren't usually known for havin' this. Everywhere else is fine tho. Please don't name anything too expensive. thanx

Petty counter arguments, more often that not, range from the subtle words of comfort "hey, beauty knows no skin colour" to vicious and ugly attacks like "so u wanna be like MICHAEL JACKSON?////"

Err, no.
No matter how accomodating we may be of other skin colours, the most predominant notion that comes to mind is that people with fairer skin tend to be naturally more attractive that those with dark skin. No matter what we do, people will always push the argument that dark skin is a good thing to have.

Also, having a fair skin lessens the likelihood of facing any form of racist slurs or hassles. A report on racism in Toronto by the Toronto Star asked people a few questions about their ethnicity and their encounter with racism. One Italian guy, who said that he did not face any kind of racism that it was "probably because I'm white." A Venezuelan immigrant agrees, and says that "what saved my *** was my white skin [...]."
