What do you think about puting leggings under mini skirts?

i think it looks cool on a select few, especially if they're fairly skinny. I for one can't look good in them.
I think leggings look great too when worn with tunics or short dresses. some also wear these with headbands and patent peeptoe shoes, which completes the 80's vibe.

Leggings = UGH LEE.
Don't even wear them, Period! They're horrible, I don't know what ficklewad decided they were cool enough to be put back on the market. They were horrible in the 80's and 90's and they're still horrible today. Leggings are typically for ballerina's and people who do aerobics. So unless you are one of those two, don't help fund the fashion industry that keeps repeating fashion acting like it's a "BRAND NEW ITEM you MUST HAVE", by buying leggings.
The best thing to wear with leggings is a long floor length skirt so they can't be seen. And in my opinion they do look pretty dumb with a mini skirt or under pants with ballet flats, once again...unless you're a ballerina.

I think it looks very retro and cool. The '80's are coming back! I'm actually very pleased at this.
Leggings look good with mini-skirts, especially micro mini's, but also with cut off shorts (my mom use to do this when I was young, so totally '80's), long tunics or shirts, big sweaters (which is how I wear mine), any short dress, and with sweater dresses especially when you add a skinny belt into the mix.
This is all IMHO, though I know quite a few people who think leggings on a whole are ugly and stupid things. I just brush them off and tell them that I make it look good with a mixture of style, flair, and confidence.
As long as YOU think you look good and have confidence in that fact, you can pull off anything! Hey, I made wearing boy's pajama bottoms cool in my high school that way. ^_^

I've seen pics in magazines of celebs doing this. Seems to work too as it seems quite popular.
Not tried it myself though.
I'm told it works best with coloured footless stocking/tights and just above the knee skirts.
Oh should have said, leggings are great if you plan to wear mini skirts this time of year as it can get a bit nippy out.

well if your going for a 80's look or vintage look then its very cute!
but in my case i really like the leggings since i work alot with those kind of fashions.

I remember wearing that when I was in the second grade.......
I think it looks stupid
and I dont wear leggings, because well they're uncomfortable, and they look retarded!!!!
