Off centre labret? Like on the side of your mouth? As long as it's *meant* to obviously be off centre then hell yeah, why not? Make sure you go to a reputable piercer who changes gloves often (any more than 5 mins on & those latex jobbies start getting permiable & can pass germs between you & the piercer), they actually have running water & an autoclave to sterilise the tools (yes, there's a piercing place here that doesn't have running water ugh). Also make sure they measure the piercing so that the jewellry allows for swelling - that area swells like nothing else & you don't want the ball disappearing into the hole! The piercer will need to mark where the hole will go inside & outside the lip so they can follow the line so the piercing will be straight. Make sure they have single use needles & high quality jewllery (316 VLM surgical stainless steel or titanium only for fresh piercings). If there's anything here I have mentioned that they don't do - don't get it done - give your business to someone else who is professional enough to work to a high standard.

A piercing isn't a huge decision like a tattoo cos you can always take it out - if it is pierced at 16 guage it should heal up with little scarring & that can always be treated with vitamin E caps that you massage in after the hole has healed over 2-3 weeks after jewellry removal.

Good luck - hope that helped.
