I tried lightening my hair a shade or too and the box said to keep the dye on for 30 minutes, i left it on for 10 minutes and my hair has turned white with a coppery tinge (im a natural ash blonde)

Is there any way of darkening it down at home?

Thank you. Carrie.

you can use a toner.......or put a rinse in...if you do this you will have to do it every 4-6 weeks......do not put another permanent dye in as it will damage your hair.

Get a box of ash blonde first dy it like the box says. Then make some off that stuff you used before Do not do all all of you hair but make streaks with a widetoothed comb.Leave it in for 5 till 7 minutes wash and repeat. But use a good conditioner. This :"uncoulering" of your hair may damage it and make it extra dry looking,But it will succeed.Succes:Robbie Holland

The reason u came out this color is because permanent color has to lift then deposit, so if u take it off during the first few minutes it is at its lightening stage and has not developed to the depositing stage, only darkening hair can u take off b4 its time since it is for deposting only (assuming u r using a semi permanent color to darken) , the best thing to do is go to a professional since u have obviously gotten it to the wrong tonal value (copper) and ur original color tone is ash.

Best to seek a hairdresser.
Be sure to use a semi-permanent color only! This is due to the fact that the outer layer of your hair is already opened chemically, and will hold the semi - color fairly permanently, with less damage. Use a color one shade lighter than you desire. Leave it on full suggested processing time and deep condition after. Good luck!

I surely advise death your hair or. try getting you conditioner putting coffee in it, stupid sounding i comprehend, enable it take a seat then use it once you shampoo your hair. Makes the coffee impact final longer. additionally you will desire to in easy terms placed sufficient coffee contained in the bottle to critically substitute the conditioners shade no longer make it black lol. :]

hair color naturally fades out so I would suggest waiting. The more you are in the sun, though, hair gets alittle littler, but this is after LOTS of sun.
