I work for great clips and I have been a licenced cosmetologist for 8 years. I have worked at other "high end" shops. I choose to work there because I make really good money. I also have many clients that have followed me there from other shops. I hear all these rumors that it is a bad place to get your haircut. Let me tell you, I've seen many bad cuts that have been cut at a so called "high end" shops. They are not all good. You risk it anywhere you go. I just want some opinions on how others feel about the great clips shops.

My Sister is 17 and i am a 18 and she thinks she's cute
she has called me ugly more than once one time I told her I was getting a new cell phone and she told me I was too ugly to have a cell phone and i hate it, sometimes I felt like killing her. whenever she's around I feel ugly, and I know im a guy and I should'nt care about these things but it pisses me off why do people who think their cute think they have the right to judge other peoples looks

im 13. 110lbs. and 5'2. i feel that i am fat and that my thighs are too wide. my frends are all around 5ft and they are like really skinny and they weigh like 85 lbs no matter how much they eat. i no that its their matabilism and everything but i feel uncomfrontable around them. like when we go shopping and everything. we are the same size on the top but on the bottoms they are like 0 and 00 and im a 2. its not that they are unhealthly or anything thats just how they are.
i thnk my thighs are to wide and they say they arent but they are sticks. i no that they dont really care on wat size jeans i waer but it makes me unconfrontable. so does anybody have any thing to help that would make me more feel comfrontable around them?

I want to breath new life into my old, floor-length prom gown by turning it into a dress I can wear at, say, semi-formal events, dressy casual parites, and upscale dinner restaurants.

It is fairly minimalistic with no silly frills or bows to remove and an empire or natural waist (I'm not good with classifying these). So I was thinking about just cutting it short. But to where do I hem it? Knee length, x inches above the knee, x inches below the knee?

Any ideas or links to helpful webpages would be appreciated. Thanks.

i need really good pictures and maybe a website that ay have instructions,which ever one is easiest. also if you have any pics of you with side swept bangs you could send them too, most likely if you do you'll get the 10 points right away 5*'s and a really good comment.

I recently just pierced my nose, but once i took the needle out, i figured out that the needle was too small when i was putting the actual nosestud in! so now the nosestud only goes halfway in, and it's far too painful to push it all the way. my friend even tried but shes not strong enough to get the stud through. so now it's more sore..what should i do to numb my nose? i tried ice already..still hurts. im going to try to find some painkillers, and then try piercing it again. i also tried burning the needle and then sticking it through my nose fastly, but that didn't work either. ahh im running out of ideas please help!!

i just got a body wave put in, but the problem is is that its WAY to kinky, i mean WAAAY to kinky, so i was wondering if washing my hair would loosen it, i told her i just wanted wave and now i have a massive amount of curls, i know youre not supposed to wet it for 2 days but i need the curls to relax or im gonna go crazy!

I am a new mom that has a hard time finding cute fabric head bands for my baby (3 mths). I decided to start creating my own. Now I have other people that are interested and will buy from me. I am also going to be a vendor at a craft show in the fall where I can sell them.

My problem is that I cannot find an easy way to create these. How do I get them to fit ? I know circumference of babies head based on how old. However, I cannot seem to be able to sew fabric on elestic so that they fit right. Some come out too small and others too big.

I would like to make both "smooth" fabric ones and "bunched" fabric. Maybe I am using the wrong fabric?

Anyone know a good pattern or have any ideas???

I'm a junior in college, just transferred to upstate NY! I used to live in the south, so I don't have many winter clothes. I was told it snows from nov-feb, so i need something warm and functional, but still flows with my style (kinda preppy, also i'm petite). I was thinking of a peacoat...is that still in style? I saw it was very popular last year... your opinion of peacoat? other suggestions?
