I don't have the answer to your question but it is one I've always had so thanks for asking! I laugh at some of them. I saw this girl at the grocery store and she had painted them like darn tee pees and then came all the way out to her temple! GOSH she looked like an alien or something. She was 50 years old too! I guess they just don't realize how ridiculous it looks.

I've never heard of someone "shaving" their eyebrows. Shaving doesn't sound right. Plucking or threading sounds just about right..especially if you want to shape your eyebrows and it pulls each hair from the root! Some people I know paint it back on because they got light hair and it's spread in an uneven way. Some just do it because they think it's nicer while it actually isn't! I think it's freaky!

Its just that when these people feel that their eyebrows are not good enough or ugly, they can be small, thin, they can be very light. So, they just shave them off and put it in the shape they want...

It's scarey looking. Reminds me of a teacher I had who did that, drew them in an inch higher, then painted metallic blue eyeshadow inbetween.

I've asked many people that myself! I guess they are better artists than groomers. Or that it is easier to draw what they want to be there instead of taking the time to pluck or wax. Just the feedback that I have had.

yeah, actually it does, it looks really bad, and they don't even know it.
I saw a show (Blind Date) when this girl had her eyebrows lined with a pencil and she and her date went to a swiming pool, when she came out of it ..she had no eyebrows....lol...she looked scary....and weird... I laughed so hard that everytime I remember that I can't stop laughing.

I don't know. They look so SKANKY and clownish. It makes them looks like HOs when they pain them back on with a high azz arch. gross!

Maybe cause they're frustrated of always having to pluck them or wax them frequently.
