It looks like fun - I need a new hobby. Anyone able to share information regarding maybe a good way to start this and see if it is something I'd like to get into or if I could be good at it before I spend too much money? Any stained glass information you can share would be good. I've never done it before. Thank.

Does any one know what the name of this picture is and possibly who painted it. I found the file on an old floppy disk i had. It's a cool pic and i'm looking for the name so maybe i could get maybe a print of it. It looks really low quality. Now everyone tells me it looks like a Salvador Dali Painting. Now it does look similar but i'm not sure. This is just a screen cap from some movie/tv show. I found it with my back stock of floppy disks so i have no idea what movie/tv show.

Last Summer I visited the National Gallery in London, and I saw the most beautiful painting, that, if I remember correctly, was a John Singer Sarget. It was maybe 4 by 6 feet... It looked a bit like Madame X, but the woman was wearing a red dress. And this is odd, but I can't remember if there were one or two women. All i can remember is the red dress, and I've tried to look the painting up, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone think they know anything about it? I will give you 10 points if you can name the painting, but I wish I could give 100!

to me his paintings look like cleverly photoshopped images based on redundant ideas by freud. i know photoshop hadn't been invented back then and freud was probably still popular. but for me it lacks psychological or emotional depth to just paint some dreamscapes
to me it looks at best like a good comic book drawing or something

tell me why i should appriate him more
