Streams with Snow banks melting and ice melting with Crocus flowers growing to the banks.
Buds on trees or flowers.
Birds building nests in a tree with cherry blossoms.
Irises, Hyacinths, Tulips, Daffodils or other spring flowers.

Buds and blossoms on a bough (see van Gogh's painting of that, done for his nephew). Or any leaf or flower buds unfolding. Birdsnest and eggs. Grass appearing through melting snow (which is wonderful to paint - so much colour).

The one music video that defines spring to me would be "Mixed Tape" by Jack's Mannequin. I love that song and that's my number 1 music video. You should see the video. Seriously!

nature. Go outside and look around. Trees growing, buds blooming, lovers kissing...birds singing....not to be too cheesy but "It is all part of the circle of life"
