When it comes to painting, aren't you supposed to go in the order of lightest to darkest when it comes to shading? Or would you recommend going in reverse order?

Thanks to all those who helped with my previous question. Now, I'm also considering cross-processing (developing using C41 chemicals) with my slide film as my local lab offers this service. BUT if it doesn't work as I'd like it can I use the negatives AGAIN to produce normal (non-crossprocessed) prints? Thanks all...

Hi, using 35mm slide for the first time, have a question.
Can I get them developed and printed into normal paper prints, as you do with c41 film? Or can they only be developed into little little slides?

It is a wooden box that contains 18 glass bottles with glass lids of varying size, 6 glass bottles with wooden lids and a small set of scales and weights. It looks like some sort of old medicine box.

These artifacts are seen in gift shops with fine finish and soothing colors. Mainly carry caracters like pegeons, dolphins, dolls, small children etc. They are washable and light in weight.
Addition to my above question I would like to know which colors are used to paint them.

The artist is Hay, the date is March 30, 1889, and the title is "Punchestown". I really don't want to pay anyone to appraise it, since I bought it at a yardsale. Any ideas on how I can find out it's worth?

I really love botanical drawings. I've drawn two of them so far, with coloured pencil. But aside from that, what is used on them. Oil paints? Watercolour? Coloured ink? And what type of paper? How big is the paper usually, with botanical drawings?
Thank you very much :)

Here is the situation in detail...

I am a college student graduating soon (in 1/2 year) with a visual art degree. Currently, I am already displaying in two consignment galleries. I display prints & oringals. Next month, I am going to my first formal show/exhibition.

Is it still early enough in my career to change my signature?
I also already have a small fallowing of people and collectors.

What should I do? Is it a risk worth taking? What is your advice?
