These artifacts are seen in gift shops with fine finish and soothing colors. Mainly carry caracters like pegeons, dolphins, dolls, small children etc. They are washable and light in weight.
Addition to my above question I would like to know which colors are used to paint them.

i guess you're asking bout cold-cast marble, it's a PolyResin based material (e.g. the chemical they use in lamination and fiberglass products, cured by a hardener also in liquid form). To create it; mix marble dust with polyresin until you have a semi-porous mixture, then mix a little of it's hardener, now it will be ready to be poured into a molder...if you're here in the phils. look for Polimer products in manila classified ads, they sell materials and instructional materials also gives seminar.
Best to use water base paints like imported acrylic tubes.

It is marble powder in casting resin which sets with a small amount of accelerator.
