So I'm doing this art class, and I love working with charcoal, but only the chalky kind...I think my art teacher has some of the "condensed" (i dont know what you call it) kind, but it's like a rectangular prism and it's...I don't know, I just don't like it, it's not as soft or as easy to blend, I guess. But when I'm doing details on drawings, it's hard to get the effect I want with a piece of chalk. So I'm wondering if they make pencils with a softer charcoal material, or if I would just have to get a file and sharpen a piece of charcoal down to a point : /

I am a newly graduated student. I just got a job in NYC with a graphic design company. My passion is oil painting. How much would you pay for me to paint you a painting. Anything you would like it could be an existing piece or a family picture. Short answer please.

We were working on our graphics projects (about film adverts), when I noticed that his was all set in Comic Sans. I pointed out that he shohuldn't use it, as it is childish and unprofessional.

He remained unconvinced, so I showed him http://www.bancomicsans.com/home/ and http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22comic+sans+is%22 . He's seriously failing to realise how terrible Comic Sans is, especially for use in a graphics project. His best defence of the font was "F*** you, Comic Sans is awesome!".

Any help?

I have photoshop. Exactly how can I correct the colors to make them a bit better at least? "Auto color" works for some pics but others seem more persistent.

I am a photographer. It is one of my biggest hobbies. there is a difference between nude art and porn. This is definetly not innapropriate or pornographic. These pictures show the elegance and beauty of a women. They are all in natural environments and naturally portrayed. They are not sexual, but elegant. It shows a nude female body can capture more than just sex. It shows freedom. You agree, not porn?? I love this art.

I take my pixs on manual or aperture priority and usually can get the light that I want, but not the sharpness. I am shooting on "Fine" and i always try to keep my ISO low if I can, I also remember to white balence for each new environment. Is there something else that i should be doing because I am so disappointed with my shots even though I love the composition.

I am really into pens since being an auditor. They become the one thing you have to carry at work or you would be lost on your job. A expensive pen makes your letters look better and they are easier to write with.
