I want a customized banner for a department in a university and I want to know where I can buy a cheap one for good quality.

Kinkos is your best bet, if you're looking for someone to design it and print it off. It's quality and easy, especially if you can't make it yourself, and it's usually not too expensive if the design is simple and you choose the lower-end supplies.

I receive a lot of mail order catalogs. Once you order by mail, they keep coming! There is one that I saw banners in: Oriental Trading. Haven't even checked if they have a web site but it's worth a shot. Good luck!
