What key composition elements are essential to shooting macro shots?

What can the “above” perspective do to a subject? What can the “below” perspective do?

How do perspective and balance affect the composition of a shot?

POV - - - - point of view - - - is the image the focus of the viewer or incidental to their over all 'look' at a scene.

An over head perspective can reduce a subject in signifigance, making them a mere element in an over all scene and by contrast a 'below' perspective can inflate the subjects signifigance, perhaps add a touch of menace or omnipressence.

The right prespective can captrure the viewers attention which is held by the balance of the composition, literally guiding the viewer to the edge and back to the center, a lot like water in a funnel, can swirl it around but it is all going down the middle.

What will you do if people decide to give you the wrong answers just for fun?

You should do your own homework.
