If blind people cant see then is what they paint more original then artists that just copy what they see?

Does anyone know of a painting that depicts a girl running through the woods. The painting may be set in the Romantic Era and all you see is her feet. Also, another more modern artist that I'm to recall the name of, his drwaings depict illusional images. e.g., waves turning into horses or an old mans head turning into a scholarly book? Sorry, I'm not very prolific when it comes to knowing a lot of names in Art.

Modern art. I don't get it. A blank canvas with three knife slashes in it? Apparently the artist is exploring the "area that exists beyond the canvas." Right.
A blue square. Thats all. It's just a blue square. Anyone can cover a canvas in blue paint. A flippin monkey could do it!
Does anyone see where I'm coming from? People go and see these "works of art" and exclaim at how fantastic they are. It's like people are afraid to say what they are actually looking at for fear of being thought of as stupid and unartistic.
So what do you think of modern art?

I'm not an expert on this so i need something cheap and effective. I love taking pictures of my baby, but going to a studio all the time is TOO Expensive. I take a lot of picture at home, but i would like to print them out with a nice "proffesional looking" background/backdrop.
