Visual Arts - March 2007

Hi, i'm starting my final piece for my gcse art coursework and the topic is still life. I've decided to paint an ipod nano using acryllic. However my art teacher says that i have to relate it to an artist (find paintings by them, biography etc.) i can't find any pictures of paintings of ipods, (I can get paintings of radios or grammarphones but i can't find any). Do you know any artists or paintings which i can access on the internet?

I want to go back to college and I can not afford a four year school, so I thought I'd go the the local community college. I can get an Associates Degree with a concentration in Illustration. What kind of work can I expect to be able to get with that? Is it all going to be freelance work, where I'll need an agent?What exactly can I expect with that major?

i am trying to learn how to use my digital nikon d70s. i am trying to put together what i know about cameras and incorporate it into shooting. i just can't figure out what to do with what i know. i know fast shutter speeds stop image and a widel aperture is good for seperating photo from background and iso is film speed. how do i put these together in order to get a correct picture. the metering doesnt seem do its purpose? i just end up putting it on auto because i can't figure it out.
