Just a heads up, people who want tattoos and then try to decide what they want are usually the people who regret them later. It's getting a tattoo for the sake of getting a tattoo.
The people who don't regret them are the people who have some sort of passion in life or very important message, then they decide they might like to symbolize it with a tattoo.
Just think loooong and hard about the permanence of a tattoo, especially if you just settle for a butterfly or something just because it's pretty. Remember, you'll have it when you're 65.

I'm not sure of any good tat albums out there however if u check the tattoo websites of the local area you live in many of them have examples of what kind of work they do. Also if you really aren't sure what u definitely want to get wait or even go a few times to a few tattoo parlors and see what the artists can create just for you. You don't want to end up with a duplicate tat and best of luck figuring it out

check out inkednation.com , i'm currently working on a sleeve for myself , the illistrating part , & am going with a semi-traditional japanese style with koi fish & waves . i'm going from fingertips to ear . i currently have a 50's style sailor girl on the inside forearm , which i drew some years ago . i've given my ink years of thought & your life style , beleifs & likes all should be considered . think about how you might feel about you tat ten years from now . i've always tried to go with somethig that is timeless . also consider what type of career your going to lean toward in your life when placing you ink , don't do something you'll regret , not trying to be discouraging , but i've seen far too many coverups . so with all that , good luck & one more thing , choose you artist very carefully ! tp.mullin

it hard to direct you somewhere without really knowing what you're looking for. with so many styles and techniques out there, the one i like might not be the one for you. if you type in tattoo or the specific name of what kind of design you like while doing an image search on yahoo or on google will show you what is on the internet and might lead you to a design or series of tattoos you really like.
