For my sons grade 4 project. It has to be able to "play" different tones and should -idealy- be a newly created not copied instrument. He gets bonus points if he can play a simple song on it......yikes.

i cannot think of another famous womanly figure besides venus who is protrayed in paintings ranging from the 14th-18th century as being large.
if you can think of any other famous woman who is in paintings who is overweight that would be a great help

Hi guys, I would like to know where i can get some info on printing my own designs on fabric. I started drawing designs for clothes partly as a hobby but find myself really loving it and would like to see my very own designs on fabric. My father is building a darkroom in our basement because of a new interest in photography. I have loved the art since I was about 10, so I want to take advantage of this opportunity. I really don't like point-and-shoot cameras, because they ruin the entire appeal of the art, which, for me, is the versatility of the camera.

I have used SLR cameras before and developed their film in several classes, so I don't believe I need a "beginner's" body. I want to avoid things like autofocus. I can go with or without flash, but what I'm primarily looking for is a quality, metal body.

Any suggestions?

I am just getting into photographing people in a studio. What would a beginer light set run and what kind would you recomennd. Right now I do not have any lights at all besides the 430ex on my Canon Xti. I would like a basic/starter set of two lights and everything to use them for roughly 400-500. I dont need anything fancy but need it to work. Is this to cheap? Let me know what you think. Thanks!!
