Hello, I've searched everywhere, but can't seem to find a technique that does this justice. I'm looking for a way to reproduce those old sepia portraits. The beautiful high detail ones. Any suggestions?

I'm 13 and I love art; painting, sketching, abstract, everything. But I don't have enough room in my school schedule to fit in art, with French and Orchestra, and the required gym, all my encore periods are full!!! :-( So, I looked into the Lemon Street Gallery,a nd the museum by my house, but their classes are either for adults or little children. I guess my main questions is where do you suggest I look for early-teen-level art classes?

For those of you that don't know, cosplay stands for "costume play". The idea is to find an anime character that you want to portray and make/buy the costume. I can't decide what to do. I like just about all anime that I've seen but I can't decide. Anyone have any links to specific costumes that you think would be a good idea?

i have seen pictures..(alot of them wedding pictures or lil kid pictures..) that are made into black and white pictures and one item in the picture is made colored. (alot of times its a red rose or something like that) I do not have photo shop is there any other way to make these kind of pictures? and what are they called?

I know copyright law is a big grey area, but I remember reading somewhere that after Warhol did his Campbell soup cans, Campbells actually tried to sue but dropped the lawsuit after all the publicity they got from his work. So because of it I read that if trademarks are used in artwork for art's sake then it's Ok. Now is this true?

I need some input on studio lighting kits, I have a strong lean toward Alien Bees right now, the B400's to be exact. My question is, when you need to calibrate/meter the lighting how can you do that with the Alien Bees set up? (I have a Nikon D70s).

i have been drawing pictures on this certain type of paper...and after a couple weeks the paper has been turning yellow...is there a way to stop the paper from turning yellow??? and do you know why it might be turning yellow??

Do i buy stretcher bars that are the same size as what the canvas is, or do i buy couple inchs smaller. I am unclear if my canvas says 12 by 15 if that means the size it will be when framed?

i've chosen to do my exam about viewpoints and have started to like the idea of using churches in my project, bt after that i'm stuck.
my final exam is in the next couple of days and all i have done is a page am carlo crivelli and a piece which is an extended photo,( basically i stuck a photograph on some paper and added to the outer boredr of this picture e.g. finished off buildings which had been cut of in the photograph)

please can anyone help? am desparate the exam is soon and i have nothin :(

One is a vase type pot it has no painting on it it is brown and it is broken on the top. The other is also broken but it has some painting on it it has some type of ducks that are on it arouind the top of it.
