Hello, I've searched everywhere, but can't seem to find a technique that does this justice. I'm looking for a way to reproduce those old sepia portraits. The beautiful high detail ones. Any suggestions?

Should be a sepia tone filter in your filters menu. If it's not you can convert to B&W and tweak colors very slightly and preview the results.

The only limitations in Photoshop are lack of knowledge of the tools. I'm still learning after several years.

Try these two different methods:

It will take some experimenting on your part but that is the beauty of digital!
