Visual Arts - December 2006

I have a piece of his and want to know what it's worth! I bought it on a flee market this past summer and it is an original oil painting. I am very curious to see the same thing online, but I can't find a site that lists oil paintings by this artist, other than a few! Anyone know of some good art web sites? Thanks!

i've seen other pictures like this, a woman's face with four squares in the corner and one is yellow. where are these from? do they mean anything? i'm just curious because i've been seeing them in other places on the internet and i can't figure out what they are.

Ive just started trying crafts and found a cheap pre printed acrylic set, compried of a pre printed canvas and brushes and paints, now I want to have a go at another and cant find any.

Anyone know of anything like this and remember must be cheap as Im starting out.
Also any ideas how to transfer and image onto canvas to paint .......

Assume that we have a canvas and want to paint "HELLO" on it,
using only two colors,one for background and one for "HELLO".
Here is my question,can you give me an estimate of the number of combination of colors that can be used for the background and "Hello" that would be pleasing for human's eyes and a painter can produce that easily.i'm clueless,just give me a number,for nstance more than 100,more than 1000.
I'd appreciate your help.

We have a ton of photos that my grandparents took of the family using a view-master camera. We have them on the circular disks so we can view them through the individual viewers but want to put them into either print form or digital form. I have read that there is special software and a special scanner that I can use but I don't know where to find the scanner. If anyone has any experience with this, I would love to hear how you did it. Was it easy to do? I found a site that will scan them for like $2 a reel but we have like 500 reels so that is not affordable. Also once they are in digital format will I still be able to see them in 3-D? Thanks for the help!

How do I draw a x in a square with out moving my pencil..and I do mean lifting it up not acctualy not moving it..also no going over the lines twice.. Yeah.. I sorta already feel like an idoit for using yahoo awnsers in the first place but oh well
