I found a painting that matches up over the mona lisa perfectly. I can't display it here obviously but I have it on my site itsjustlife.com

You can see my theory there, but what i'm asking is what could be alternate explanations? If my theory is right it's because Da Vinci painted it and intended it to match up and was part of his legacy..

That's the only explanation I can think of! I would appreciate any other ideas or anyone who knows who I should contact to verify my findings and help. I want to know what I might be missing or what else what i've found could be! Both paintings are from the same time and the painting that matches up over the mona lisa has an unknown painter. Obviously for it to match up in the way it does means it was intentional. But if not by Da Vinci, then who or why?

I've been assigned the honour of designing the front cover of our school yearbook, published in June. Every year, the cover design is fantastic, and unique to the year whilst remaining relative to our local area here in Ireland. For the past few years, since the manga style of drawing became popular, the cover has been an animated illustration, but I'm thinking it's time for a change.
I've decided that I'm going to draw a still of one of our students , in our compulsary black, white and red uniform, posing in one way or another (from a photo). Any ideas as to what pose might be different and create an interesting image?
I was thinking of a shot taken from above of one of the girls sitting on the floor, cross legged, surrounded by CDs, a laptop and iPod. But that kinda sucks. Other thoughts? Any suggestion is welcome!

I mean besides view them with a projector. I want to know how I can put them on disc or to my computer. Is there something I can buy to do this myself? I have a lot of them and I know it would be quite costly to have it done by a professional. Thanks for any ideas.

I like drawing with them, but it's such a hassle to keep a paper over the picture so it won't smear. Any ideas? Thanks!

I understand they have photographers, but what about small companies say in London, they couldnt send someone out to the north pole, or could they?? Hmmm? I always presumed that the pics on the internet where copywrited and if that is what they use then what about before internet, any light shed on this subject wouldbe greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch, Peter D.

I am dyslexic and anything with numbers is simply confusing right and left for me. Had to concentrate very hard some years back in photo class to remember my best settings for 400 Ilford B&W and night shots with available lighting. Could use some suggestions on recommended settings for night again, and also days with moderate to bright sunshine. Thanks.

example of previous night shot:

and any easy methods of remembering settings!!

There seems to be a bit of a downer on here regarding tattoos, yet I've noticed that many of you have tattoos!

Those of you with tattoos ~ What made you get your first tattoo? Do any of your tattoos have a special meaning? Do you regret any of your tattoos?
For those of you who hate tattoos, feel free to air your feelings, wouldn't want you to think that I was bias!
