Shouldn't i have it copyrighted first?

When posting photos never post them at their full resolution.
Always resize them to about 640X480..the quality will not be good enough for someone to print them.

I think so, just be careful of what you put on here. Any personal information can lead a predator to you, so be careful. It breaks my heart to hear about all the kids who die or get scarred for life for putting some obscure fact online that someone can use to find out where you live.

Why don't you post to flickr. Specifically look at the Creative Commons section [see links below]
They have different levels of licensing. Then you can protect and share your photos too, to get eyes and publicity.

Technically, once you create - as in have a tangible form of - a piece of work, it is protected by US copyright laws and is considered yours.

never post a max resoloution pic either resize it smaller (640x480 etc).....
