What do you find that stimulates you to get your juices flowing to make art again if you have been away from it for a long time?

Don’t care for clowns, perhaps? Think they’re creepy? Would you like to interpret the meaning of this painting?

(I know what it means to me. I'm just wondering how you would perceive this. Thank you.)

I have to use artistic techniques and terms and analyze, describe, judge, and interpret the painting. I have to critique Jack Levine's "Birmingham '63" and Wayne Thiebaud's "Parkplace".

I have a limited budget and want something small and light. I might even want to "hide" the camera in a bag or purse. There will be outdoor footage, and I want everything to look great when I'm done.

I am trying to decide--it has to be somewhat 'experimental': here's my choices---\/ (this is for the NFAA arts Awards, and i need 5 pictures total)

1. I have taken some great pictures of horse's eyes, is this 'deep' enough, or do i need something better? Should i do like, one picture of a horse's eye, one of a humans, one of...??

2. I thought about contrasting the ways of nature with the ways of man--I don't know though: would they let me enter two contrasting photos as one entry? maybe if they were on the same print? My ideas here are photos like: mother and baby duck, mother and baby human-many tall plants, many tall lightposts-angry horse, angry man. Stuff like this

3. Well, I've always wondered why photos were rectangular, so this idea is that i should submit cirular photos that may-or may not- include the above ideas.

Please help me, i need help paying for college. My web isn't near done but u can get an idea of me here: http://ajsellarole.pink-pistol.net/ ( go flash

This is a series of 6 pen on paper about 8X10 dancer sketches of dancers in rehersal at a ballet bar or studio. There isn't a lot of detail in the drawings, mostly simple line drawings. I inherated these from a friend that would have collected these between 1930 - 1960.
